based on a stock install of CRE loaded 6.042 with patches 1 - 3a installed

WARNING!!! Back up both the files and database before you apply this patch.

WARNING!!! All side boxes are turned on by default. Make a list of your current side boxes
before you proceed with the installation of this patch.

A. Introduction:

The main thrust of this patch is two fold. First it is directed at the many little and in the
templates. It also was directed at the Bug List that was being done by Alex (Rodent) in the 
forums at http://www.creloaded.com.  This patch does not full address the multilingual aspects of
the admin and catalog yet, but that goal was kept in mind while doing these fixes and changes.

Change and addition through this patch are divided into three categories, each takes special 
precautions when applying them.

B. Admin changes: 
These are changes that apply to the admin only. For the most part they will not alter
your look and feel of you site.

C. Core changes: see below
These are changes to any file that is not in the template directory or admin. Some
of these changes will alter the look of you site. Hopefully for the better.

D. Template changes: These are changes that are applied to any file with in the template
directory.  If you have customized anything with in this directory it can and will be over
written.

To prevent this from happening you should find the document "how to set up your own template".
or you will need to merge the changes into your catalog. Do not just copy them over your
current templates if you have changed them.

This patch includes changes to the style sheets of the templates. These changes add styles for
the links list, and cart in header that were missing.

E. Installing the patch to a stock catalog:
 1. Make a backup of your files and database, then store them someplace safe.
 
 2. If you have customized one of the four basic template, your should create your own.
 There is a document available that will help you do this.
 
 3. Copy the files in this patch to the catalog and admin. 
 WARNING!!!! Doing this may overwrite any changes you have made to customize you catalog. 
 
 4. Uninstall each template then reinstall.
 Go to Admin>Design Controls>Template Admin to the right you will see the remove button.
 Remove the first template in the list below. in the next screen click on the remove button again
 
 You can ignore the check box  "Delete template image?" since it does not work.
 
 Next click on the insert button, you should see the template you just removed. 
 If not use the drop box and select the template you just removed. 
 you can ignore the "Template Image:" text box since the image was not deleted
 
 Click on save button: 
 
 Repeat for each of the templates listed below.
 
 List of the 4 basic templates:

 Pixame_v1 	   	   	   	 
 
 All boxes are turned on by default. You will need to move them around and place the in there correct
 position as you old cart was. Once you have moved the side boxes around click on the update position
 button. This will move the arrows to the correct places and make sure the sort order is correct.
 
 If you do not you may experience error in the side boxes.
 
 NOTE: Not all of the side boxes will work when you first look at them. An example: Unless you are logged in
 and have a gift voucher balance you will not see the customer-gv box. 
 
 The banner box must also have the correct banners entered into the banner admin.
 
 Please read the sideboxes.txt document on how the side boxes need configured and designed to 
 work.
 
F. Merging the changes into your custom catalog:
    This is beyond the cope of this simple text document.
